Chapter 115: Your Answer
Su Chen’s words left everyone puzzled.
Even with the video evidence circulating, why did Su Chen insist there was still another truth? Was it possible for the facts, seemingly set in stone, to be overturned? In the live broadcast room, those who had mindlessly followed the crowd and insulted Su Chen now sent mocking comments.
“Oh? The truth? Isn’t the truth that you fought and assaulted a defenseless old man? Still trying to argue?”

With Su Chen’s statement, the barrage of comments increased frantically. Those anxious reactions seemed less like ridicule and more as if they were trying to prove something or were afraid of something.
Others might not realize it, but Su Chen understood—they feared the possibility that the video’s story could be reversed. If that happened, they would have insulted the wrong person! No one wants to admit their mistake. So, most who were attacking Su Chen became even more vicious now.
A few rational voices suspected there might be hidden truths, but their measured comments were drowned out by the senseless tide, not even leaving a ripple.
Su Chen had anticipated this before stepping onto the stage; so instead of speaking more, he chose action.
“The next song I’ll perform for everyone is called ‘Your Answer.’ I hope you enjoy it.”
After he spoke, the stage lights suddenly dimmed, and the band began the prelude. At the same time, the giant screen—never lit during performances before—unexpectedly came alive.
A shaky video appeared onscreen, its images vaguely familiar—it seemed to be the viral footage of the fight circulating online! Yet, the content brought an unfamiliar sense of familiarity, as if no one had really seen it before.
But... but surely, they had all seen this video!
As the audience stared in shock at the footage on the stage’s big screen, Su Chen gripped the microphone in both hands and began to sing, his voice gentle and flowing.
“Perhaps the world is just like this.”
“I am still on my way.”
“No one can tell.”
“Perhaps I can only be silent.”
“Tears moisten my eyes.”

As Su Chen sang, the video slowly revealed more. On screen, four thugs reeking of alcohol blocked Su Chen’s path, grinning maliciously. The leader even began to harass him physically.
The audience, swept up by his song, instinctively slipped into Su Chen’s perspective and began to worry about his predicament on screen. Four thugs—what should Su Chen do?

“Don’t let this scum fool you! Never mind the authenticity of this video—even if the fight is explained, what about the old man he hurt? How can that be justified?!”
“Exactly! Don’t think a fabricated video is enough—he really hurt someone!”
“Astonishing! Now people use these tricks to defend themselves? If you’re so capable, heal the old man’s injuries!”

With these troll comments, viewers who had briefly awakened were swept up in the tide again, their insults toward Su Chen growing even harsher.
Outside the stage, those concerned for Su Chen had their hearts in their throats.
But Su Chen, lost in the music, stood on stage and continued to sing.

In the video, when Su Chen saw the old man fall to the ground, he rushed forward, choosing to face four opponents alone!
