Chapter 10: He’s Out with His Lover, Saying He Won’t Be Coming Home Tonight
“Come, come, everyone gets one, and you can pick your favorite flavor.”
“I’ve already delivered to the girls’ dormitory. Only you guys in the boys’ dorm are left, hurry down and get yours.”
Tang Xiwei, accompanied by Lin Tingting, was calling their male classmates down from the boys’ dormitory to collect their milk teas.
One by one, the boys looked at the new campus belle of their class actually buying them milk tea, genuinely feeling both surprised and flattered.
Tang Xiwei stood beneath the boys’ dorm, greeting each boy with a radiant smile, occasionally chatting a bit, doing her utmost to raise everyone’s impression of her.
After half an hour of distributing, only four cups remained; it was obvious that one boys’ dorm hadn’t come down yet.
“Xiwei, Chen Luo’s dorm is still missing. I doubt they’ll come down. Is it really necessary to wait?”
“But you’ve really gone all out today—forty-six cups for the whole class, that’s more than four hundred yuan spent.”
Lin Tingting felt a pang of distress; after all, most college students’ monthly allowance ranged between seven hundred and twelve hundred, and some from poorer families had less than five hundred. Tang Xiwei had just spent nearly half a month’s living expenses.
“It’s fine. Let’s wait. Even if they don’t come down, I need to make the gesture and leave a good impression.”
“But don’t worry, the money for this milk tea was transferred to me by Chen Luo at the start of the semester. I haven’t spent a single cent of my own allowance.”
Lin Tingting gave her a thumbs-up. To pull off such a “borrowed flowers, offered Buddha” act without a hint of guilt—Tang Xiwei was truly impressive.
“But what if Chen Luo asks for his money back later?” Lin Tingting was still concerned.
“Hmph! He has the nerve to ask me? Look at all the outrageous things he’s done to me! What’s wrong with me spending a bit of his money?”
Tang Xiwei pulled out her phone, opened QQ, and was greeted by her chat with Chen Luo—right at the top, a glaring insult. Below, Tang Xiwei had sent three question marks, but the message showed she was no longer friends with him; delivery failed.
Well then, after cursing her out, Chen Luo had immediately blocked her—decisive indeed. No wonder Tang Xiwei was so furious. Before Lin Tingting could speak, Tang Xiwei launched into another tirade.
“He’s just a kept man, living off a woman, and now he won’t even acknowledge me. Hmph! Scumbag! Spineless coward!”
“Once I’m elected Youth League secretary tomorrow, I’ll go to the Student Union and find a senior a hundred times better than Chen Luo. I won’t just make him regret—I'll use the Student Union’s power to ensure Chen Luo can’t even survive on campus!”
Watching her gritting her teeth in anger, Lin Tingting was at a loss for words.
At that moment, someone descended the stairs in the boys’ dorm—Chen Luo’s roommate and best friend, Liu Hao.
Upon seeing him, Tang Xiwei immediately switched faces, flashing her signature sweet, green-tea smile.
“Here, Liu Hao, have a cup of milk tea to cool off.”
Liu Hao showed no warmth, pushing the milk tea aside.
“I only came down to tell you: don’t bother waiting. Our dorm won’t take your milk tea. We all saw how you trampled on Chen Luo’s sincere feelings.”
With that, Liu Hao turned to leave, leaving Tang Xiwei fuming from his retort.
“What, Chen Luo the coward can’t face me, so you come down as his mouthpiece? Tell him to get down here! I want an apology!”
Hearing this, Liu Hao merely smiled, his expression ambiguous.
“Oh, sorry, Chen Luo isn’t in the dorm. He’s probably out with his girlfriend right now. He told me not to wait up for him tonight—you know what that means, right?”
With Liu Hao’s suggestive smile and those words, even a fool could guess what Chen Luo was up to.
“He! He! How dare he! No! Without my permission, how can he go to a hotel with another woman!”
“Hah, funny. My buddy isn’t your boyfriend. Do you live by the sea? Why do you want to control everything?”
Liu Hao returned to his dorm, ignoring Tang Xiwei’s pale, livid face.
Lin Tingting watched Tang Xiwei’s shaky, deathly pale appearance and rushed to support her.
“Xiwei, calm down! Please calm down!”
At that moment, Tang Xiwei felt as if she could cough up blood. In her mind, she pictured Chen Luo in bed with that woman who was far more beautiful than herself.
Her heart was filled by a furious sense of being cuckolded—a rage at having her loyal admirer stolen from her!
She had kept Chen Luo dangling because his handsome looks were exactly her type.
He was nearly six feet tall, with a handsome face and a trademark sunny smile, making him stand out even at Hangzhou University.
Putting aside family background and money, Chen Luo was truly an outstanding male student.
Tang Xiwei had always treated Chen Luo as her after-dinner dessert, determined not to waste his fine appearance, planning to seize his first time when the opportunity arose.
But she hadn't expected someone else to beat her to it, to claim Chen Luo before her!
“Chen Luo! Chen Luo! You shameless scumbag! You have no shame!”
Tang Xiwei’s furious roar echoed through the boys’ dormitory, drawing countless eyes down to her. The boys began gossiping about how the new campus belle was once again cursing Chen Luo in the middle of the night.
Seeing this, Lin Tingting quickly covered her mouth and dragged her away toward the girls’ dorm, not daring to linger for a second, afraid more trouble would arise.
...
At dawn the next day, Imperial View Garden.
Wen Wan slowly opened her eyes, feeling an indescribable comfort throughout her body—it had been so long since she’d slept so peacefully.
And right before her eyes was the face and chest she had dreamed of for ten years, now so close she could touch them.
Wen Wan gently cupped Chen Luo’s cheeks, lifted her head, and softly kissed his lips.
“Chen Luo, it’s so wonderful to have you here.”
“From now on, you must always stay by my side, never leave me—not even in death. No, even if you die, you must be buried with me.”
Once Wen Wan touched Chen Luo’s lips, she lost control. What had started as a gentle morning kiss turned into a passionate French kiss, her delicate tongue prying open his teeth and intertwining intimately with his.
The sensation startled Chen Luo awake. He forced open his tired eyes and immediately saw Wen Wan holding him, kissing him with abandon.
What the heck! What’s going on! I just woke up—do I really need this kind of excitement first thing in the morning?
