The other guests drew lots to enter the flower room to make their calls. Once the calls were finished and the text messages of affection were sent, the live broadcast ended. Nan Chu took her phone and returned to her room.

She first gave a report to Zhuang Wenqi, then logged into her secondary account to see if anyone had replied to the post she had made, hoping to find a proper solution. Checking the notifications, she found that quite a few people had indeed replied.

One user named Ghost Lantern replied: "Expose the man with solid evidence and make him famous. Once the girls see it, they will realize they’ve been deceived."

Nan Chu felt this was a viable approach.

Another user, "Academy Top Student," replied: "Find evidence of the man's infidelity and give it to the five girls. That way, they will believe it and stay away from the scumbag."

Nan Chu thought this was also a good option. The second method had the advantage of keeping the girls out of the public eye, sparing them from the malicious gossip of internet trolls.

Jiang Han had finished washing up and sent Nan Chu a message, asking if she wanted to eat some noodles that he would cook for her. Nan Chu was indeed hungry, so she went downstairs.

"Sit down, I'll cook you some noodles," Jiang Han said.

"Okay."

"Who did you choose?" Jiang Han inquired. "Si Junyan or Meng Yuan?"

"Si Junyan," Nan Chu did not hide it. She reasoned that since Si Junyan had recommended good books to her, perhaps he would recommend more if they went on a date.

Upon hearing Si Junyan's name, Jiang Han’s expression darkened slightly. With a forced smile, he said, "That's good." As a romantic rival, he was willing to compete fairly. He was confident he could win her heart.

"Aren't you going to ask who I chose?"

Nan Chu looked at Jiang Han. "Then who did you choose?"

"Li Wenya," Jiang Han explained. "Since you two are close, I thought I might be able to learn more about you through her. So, don't worry, even though I chose someone else, my heart is still with you." Jiang Han smiled.

Nan Chu fell silent, not knowing what to say. When the noodles were ready, the two ate in quiet. After finishing, they both returned to their rooms.

A while later, Jiang Han brought Nan Chu a hot water bottle, which he had secretly bought that day. Nan Chu held the bottle and sat blankly on the bed. She had no interest in reading; her mind was filled with the time she had spent with Jiang Han over the past few days. It was the first time someone had cared for her so deeply, making her feel a growing sense of attachment to him.

Nan Chu pondered until past two in the morning before finally falling asleep.

The next day, at nine o'clock, the live broadcast began. The director announced the choices made the previous day.

Seeing the results, Fang You cursed Nangong Hengmo and Meng Yuan in his heart, accusing them of stealing his spotlight.

Sha Mengyuan thought, [As expected, this Li Wenya is my rival; Meng Yuan chose her again.]

Si Junyan drove Nan Chu to their date. Over an hour later, they arrived. Nan Chu’s eyes sparkled as she looked at the library.

"This is the Forest Library; you can see the forest scenery from here."

"Let's go in."

The two entered the library. After choosing Nan Chu yesterday, he had researched suitable dating spots. Knowing she loved books, he found this private library and rented it out entirely for the day so it would be open only to them.

"Let's go to the second floor. You can sit by the window, listen to the rain, and read."

Nan Chu nodded obediently and followed him upstairs. Once there, Nan Chu went to browse for books, with Si Junyan following closely behind. When she couldn't reach a book on a high shelf, he immediately retrieved it for her.

After selecting their books, they sat by the window. Si Junyan produced the brown sugar ginger tea and fruit he had prepared for her.

After they finished, they exchanged charms and headed home. When they arrived, everyone else was already back at the villa. Li Wenya had arranged her dates at a cafe, with an hour for each person, so they finished quickly. Because of the rain, Nangong Hengmo and Meng Yuan had also chosen to have their indoor dates, which ended just as promptly.

When Jiang Han saw Nan Chu and Si Junyan return, his eyes immediately locked onto Nan Chu. They made eye contact, and Nan Chu gave him a slight nod. Jiang Han’s sour mood improved slightly because of that gesture.

The group played some games in the living room for a while before returning to their respective rooms. Jiang Han went to Nan Chu’s room to find her. He covered the camera before asking, "Where did you and Si Junyan go for your date today?"

"We went to the Forest Library. The scenery was quite nice, and there were many books."

"After lunch, we made phone charms."

Hearing this, Jiang Han immediately looked at Nan Chu's phone; sure enough, there was a charm on it. He had initially intended to rip it off, but then he remembered that the phone belonged to the production team, not Nan Chu herself.

Nan Chu looked at Jiang Han, feeling hesitant. She had always been a decisive person before this.

Observing her expression, Jiang Han asked, "Is something wrong?"

Nan Chu was silent for a moment before taking out the phone charm she had made. "I made this for you. I hope you don't mind."

Seeing the charm, Jiang Han broke into a bright smile. "You made this for me?"

"Yes."

"Even while on a date with Si Junyan, you were thinking of me?"

Nan Chu nodded. "Yes, I was thinking of you."

He had given her flowers, cooked her brown sugar ginger tea, and gifted her books... Even though it had only been a few days, she realized that Jiang Han had always been by her side. He had done so much for her that when she was making the charm today, his figure had suddenly appeared in her mind.
