Words Upon Release
The novel will be officially released in just a little while. To be honest, when I finished my previous book, "The Instant Noodle Tycoon," I had no intention of writing another "tycoon" story, as I felt I had already exhausted every idea I had on the subject.
Yet, after much back and forth, I ended up eating my own words and writing the story of Boss Huang. This mainly happened because I stumbled upon one of Boss Huang's viral, absurdly edited videos, which opened the door to a whole new world for me.
However, this book is destined to tread paths that "The Instant Noodle Tycoon" never explored.
Some have remarked that by chapter 100, the story feels like a fantasy novel, arguing that the five minor goals the protagonist aims to achieve would be impossible without the use of "black technology" or extraterrestrial advancements.
But that is precisely the essence of this book: exploring how to achieve these five goals in a reasonably logical way.
Well, in truth, while these five goals may seem daunting, they are not actually that difficult.
Becoming the world’s richest person is simple—even just knowing the trends of Bitcoin would be enough to achieve it with ease, let alone the fact that Boss Huang understands the general trajectory of the entire world. That part is not hard.
Getting one billion foreigners to learn Chinese is also not difficult. You just need to find a way to make the "third brother" country list Chinese as a mandatory primary school subject. If that doesn't work, there are always our friends in Africa. Furthermore, as culture evolves, as long as we can spark an interest in Chinese culture among foreigners, even someone who learns just a single "hello" counts as a student of the language. In fact, by 2021, the number of Chinese language learners worldwide had already surpassed one hundred million.
Then there is the goal of surpassing the United States in GDP. This is also simple. Currently, China's GDP is at 70% of the U.S.'s. Given twenty years, with Boss Huang’s assistance and a few "cheats" along the way, this is perfectly normal.
Next is replacing the U.S. dollar. This is admittedly a bit fantastical and would likely require the catalyst of war, but Boss Huang has his own "Three Realms" plan. If everything goes smoothly, it is achievable within thirty to forty years.
Finally, there is the Gundam.
Surely no one actually believes that we cannot build a Gundam capable of walking, running, and striking poses in reality? In fact, we already possess the technological capability to build one that can walk, run, and pose; it is simply a matter of having enough money. The reason no one has built one is that there is no profit in pouring that much money into such a project.
But since our Boss Huang has a dream, that is no longer an issue. In fact, this is the easiest of the five minor goals.
Of course, if we are talking about flying, transforming, surviving missile strikes, or having a psycho-frame, that would indeed require alien technology.
That concludes my thoughts for the launch. There will be twenty chapters released today. I hope you all enjoy reading!
