Who knows with what feelings I typed this message marking my official VIP status.

... VIP is like a gentleman’s lock—it cannot keep out villains, only those noble enough to buy the authentic copy.

...

I started reading novels long ago, mostly male-oriented ones. The most memorable was “Killer God” by Against the Heaven, which I consider my literary awakening.

Then came “Endless Dantian,” “Proud Nine Heavens”...

Back when the female leads were still domineering CEOs, I wanted to write a female-oriented cultivation novel. I think it was on NetEase Cloud—if I’m not mistaken, that was the platform I wrote on. I posted a short story there, and the editor even changed my cover.

But I never continued because I had to study... I was still transitioning from elementary to middle school back then, haha.

Looking back now, I feel quite guilty.

Later on, I read “Soul Land,” “Battle Through the Heavens,” “Sacred Ruins”… I also read “Genius Demon Consort” as a female lead story, but I can’t recall much else—only that one stands out!

That one book, “Genius Demon Consort,” made me afraid to read any more one-on-one romances. Since then, I only read novels with no couples or open endings.

Because I liked the second male lead so much, I always treated him as the main male protagonist!!! I never even questioned why the title was about a demon consort.

[As I recall, the second male lead accompanied the female lead from the moment she transmigrated, guiding her cultivation.

The male lead was a demon lord who appeared briefly and immediately stole the female lead’s soul.

In the end, to save the male lead, the second male lead died trying to save the female lead.]

The male and female leads sat on a field blossoming with dandelions, and the female lead recalled the second male lead. (I don’t remember his name, but it had a “Pu” in it.)

Haha, after that, I only wrote stories without couples, because the other party wouldn’t allow me to write them.

I once tried writing a beast-world cultivation story on Qidian, but later gave up due to school commitments and never signed a contract. (Silent pause)

I’ve seen other great writers post “launch messages” before their works go live; today it’s finally my turn.

Though it’s not exactly a launch, more like an official VIP status. Everyone has performance goals, which is good—it’s all good.

Some have suggested I write an ending and finish the story.

But originally, I planned about 200,000 words. The plot has been a bit stuck, but I never considered abandoning the story.

It all happened quite suddenly.

Here, I want to thank my beloved readers for their support, haha... It’s hard to say how much it means, because my writing is rubbish—I can barely read it myself. Maybe it’s because I lost all anticipation for it, or maybe it really is terrible, haha.

Also, I’m quite grateful to my editor—won’t say who. There are only a few editors at QYue, and I won’t embarrass her by naming her here.

This is my first internally-submitted novel and my first internal submission ever. She was willing to sign me, so I never experienced the sting of rejection.

She patiently explained that the genre is niche and doesn’t attract many readers.

Though I plan to shift from sci-fi to suspense, she warned me that suspense is too niche. I still don’t know what the exact category is.

...

Finally, I want to thank all my beloved readers for accompanying me along this journey.

Especially “Qingzhou Buli” (a warm community for new writers) and a certain reader whose username is very long and mysterious—thank you for discussing the plot with me, which made writing less lonely.

Thanks also to all the friends who have supported me.

Our story ends here. You don’t need to bookmark or follow anymore~

No need to vote for recommendation tickets either—save them for works that truly deserve it.

The road ahead is too dark.

...

Lastly, I sincerely wish every reader happiness and that all your wishes come true.

Best wishes!
